Cleaning the windows junk files manually

Clean (clean) windows junk files on your hard drive should be done periodically, depending on the number of changes to or use applications on your computer. There are several software that can be used to delete these files in one click, but most pay, such as Tune Up 2009, system mechanics, and others. Of some free software I have ever tried the result is less satisfactory.
If you do not have the software on top, then you can do manually, is looking for the folder where the files are located and then delete junk files waste that exist in that directory.
The procedures you should do is:
1. Setting "enable show hidden files" guide can be found here Go to windows explorer. Open directory C: \ Documents and Settings \ GEOPHYSICS \ My Recent Documents, or; C: \ Documents and Settings tab \ GEOPHYSICS \ Recent Description: GEOPHYSICS is an active username on my computer, match the active user on your computer. Block (highlight) all files that exist on the right, then remove (delete) These files are only recording shortcut (can be removed) without damaging the windows.

2. Open the directory C: \ WINDOWS \ Prefetch Delete all files in the directory

3. Open the directory C: \ WINDOWS \ Temp Remove all files in the directory

4. Open the directory C: \ Documents and Settings \ GEOPHYSICS \ Local Settings \ Temp Description: GEOPHYSICS is an active username on my computer, match the active user on your computer. Delete all files in the directory

5. Delete files in the recycle bin
