Most tutorials will tell you to disable all the features of Windows Aero, and do not use background or wallpaper. In my opinion it is useless, it's more like a trade-off, because who does not want to have a good desktop? And AeroSnap really helpful! I agree that you can get better performance by doing this, but it was not feasible. If you think your desktop is not a "Luxury", then do not hesitate to do so anyway ...
1. Press Start
2. SystemPropertiesPerformance Type in the Search field, and press enter.
3. Select Adjust for Best Performance or at least remove the first two entries checkbox.
Turn off unnecessary sevice.
To disable all unnecessary services we use a software called GameBooster, this is only one way to do it, and it is much faster than doing it manually. You can temporarily stop all services (not required). The interesting thing is, you can even edit the service list with just a few clicks and adding more service to get better performance.
To add another service, click Options - Edit Service List. Now, you can simply add the service using this format: RemoteRegistry = 1
Any service that needs to be included.
* Computer Browser (Browser = 1)
* Protected Storage (ProtectedStorage = 1)
* Remote Registry (RemoteRegistry = 1)
* Secondary Logon (seclogon = 1)
* Security Center (wscsvc = 1)
* Themes (Themes = 1)
* Windows Errors Reporting Services (WerSvc = 1)
* Windows Media Center Service Launcher (ehstart = 1)
* Windows Search (WSearch = 1) Windows Time (W32Time = 1)
