The following is the manual way to reset the printer with the type of MP 198 :
1. Printer off position
2. Press and hold down the stop / reset
3. Press and hold down the power button and release the button stop / reset
4. Still pressing the power button, then press the stop / reset 2 x and then release all buttons.
If the above steps have been done then reset using software.
