How to Create a Virtual Hard Disk in Windows 7

If your hobby of playing computer games, of course you need to create a virtual hard drive that can play games that your computer runs smoothly without an excessive burden on computer resources. The trick is to play it on a virtual hard drive.In Windows 7 you can easily create a virtual disk. The trick is as follows:

To create a virtual hard drive, open and run the command (Windows Key + R) and typing diskmgmt.msc. You can also lead to the disk management from the control panel. Click Action-> Create the VHD.







 













You must ensure that where the VHD is stored in your hard drive and also how the size of the VHD.






























In the next step, you will see the VHD created. right click and select Initialize Disk.



















Click OK and make sure you select MBR as shown below


















Now disk space allocated and you need to create volume for VHD. Right click on the disk and choose New Simple Volume.















Following the Select Assign drive letter

Format the partition by using the settings file system and size (size) are allocated.














When formatting is complete. VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) you are ready to use and if you enable auto-play, you'll see that a new volume is already open.











This new volume will be listed automatically on the Disk Management as part of the disk in your computer.

















Now you can use it like a regular hard drive.
