Troubleshooting a USB Device Not Recognized In Windows 7

Sometimes when we are plugging into the USB port USB flashkdisk notification will appear USB Device Not Recognized. Not only with the flash, sometimes also appears when plugging in the cable cellphones, cameras, modems and other - that is associated with a USB port.

Windows 7 considers your peripherals such malfunction (fail to function) so that issuing the notification. Now how can I fix this?

Follow these guidelines:

Step 1:
Click Start and type and run Devmgmt.msc, and then will open Device Management. Select your computer as a location for doing the scanning hardware. Right click on Computer and click scan for hardware that is installed search process. Most likely Windows will be able to detect the problem and recognize the USB drive. If you are still experiencing problems, try step 2.

Step 2:
Click Start, type and run Devmgmt.msc, Device Management window opens. Select the USB Root as in the picture below, right click on the message contained Unknown USB Device. 

 






















Select properties from the menu, right click and select Power Management tab. Click to remove "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" check box that appears, then click OK. Now from the Actions menu, click Scan for hardware changes as referred to in the step 1.Windows will begin scanning your USB device again.

Step 3:
If you still experience the problem, turn off the computer, disconnect the USB cable, remove the battery (for laptops), or unplugging the power electricity (for desktops), let it die around 10-15 minutes. Turn your computer back and re-enter the USB. Until this point Windows should already be able to recognize your USB. If not there is the possibility of damage to your USB.
