Step 1:
Click Start and type and run Devmgmt.msc, and then will open Device Management. Select your computer as a location for doing the scanning hardware. Step 2:

Step 3:
If you still experience the problem, turn off the computer, disconnect the USB cable, remove the battery (for laptops), or unplugging the power electricity (for desktops), let it die around 10-15 minutes. Turn your computer back and re-enter the USB. Until this point Windows should already be able to recognize your USB. If not there is the possibility of damage to your USB.
