Overcoming the Hidden Files by Virus

You may have experienced data loss in a flash or other USB storage media data after the scan by antivirus? For the layman assumes that the existing data in flash is lost or erased due to infected by a virus (virus locally).

Actually the data is not necessarily lost or erased, but it is hidden (super hidden files) by the virus and the existing data in flash is turned into a good shortcut folder, data Microsoft Office (word and excel) or the other. You can distinguish between original files and shortcuts in Windows Explorer (Type and Size).

Before starting, please you check the capacity of the flash that is already in use, open Windows Explorer then right click on the flash drive and select Properties. If the flash has a lot of unused capacity it is likely that the original data still exists.

You do not need additional software that you must download and install it. Please consider the following easy steps ...

1. Replace flash on a computer
2. Select Start> Run and typing CMD and press Enter or OK

3. In the Command Prompt window, type cd \
4. Change to your flash drive letter, examples of your flash on the D drive then typing D: and Enter
5. After being on drive D: \>, type attrib-s-h-a / s / d and then Enter, and wait some time to complete the  process of changing file attributes. (see picture)

6. If at the command prompt window back into drive D: \>, means the process of changing the attributes have been completed.

7. Please check your data in the flash.
